About the role

The Lead IT Business Analyst translates business requirements into functional designs, user stories, and data models while collaborating with architects and agile teams. Based in Pune, on-site role, driving end‑to‑end SDLC activities and ensuring alignment of test cases with acceptance criteria.
What you’ll do
- Gather and translate business requirements into functional flows and user stories
- Create and maintain functional designs, specifications, and system documentation
- Develop As‑Is and To‑Be business models and logical data models
- Collaborate with cross‑functional agile teams and architects to define solutions
- Ensure test cases align with acceptance criteria and boundary conditions
- Document user stories, functional designs, and service interface requirements
What you’ll bring
- 8-12 years business analyst experience with enterprise financial applications
- Prior experience with payments processing applications
- Knowledge of trade instruments such as Spot, Forwards, NDF
- Familiarity with SWIFT MT messages (MT1/2/9)
- Familiarity with ISO MX messages
- Ability to draft process flows and activity diagrams
- Basic SQL query writing for data extraction
