About the role
Impact Investment Exchange (IIX) is a Singapore-headquartered pioneer in impact investing that mobilizes capital for sustainable development. This Senior Associate role supports the CEO’s Office by driving strategic initiatives, developing new concepts, and managing cross-functional execution. The position is based in Mumbai, India, on an On-site work model.
What you’ll do
- Support the Strategic Initiatives team and CEO’s Office in managing high-priority workstreams and organizational commitments.
- Prepare high-quality written outputs including briefing notes, presentations, reports, and correspondence for internal and external engagements.
- Assist in translating strategic directions into structured workstreams, trackers, and action plans for team execution.
- Coordinate across internal teams to align inputs, monitor progress, and surface blockers on organization-wide priorities.
- Support scoping and development of new ideas from first principles to structured proposals and workplans.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform the development of new programs, products, and strategic directions.
- Support identification and cultivation of new institutional partnerships, donor relationships, and co-investment opportunities.
- Develop proposals, pitch decks, and program frameworks for new business opportunities aligned with IIX’s strategy.
What you’ll bring
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in top-tier consulting, financial institutions, or impact-focused environments.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, International Development, Public Policy, or related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality written outputs such as proposals, reports, and strategy documents.
- Strong analytical and structured thinking skills with proficiency in qualitative frameworks and quantitative data.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of gender equality, social inclusion, or climate action with an intersectional lens.
- Familiarity with inclusive finance, impact investing, blended finance, or ESG frameworks.
- Cross-sectoral exposure spanning climate, infrastructure, development finance, or impact capital markets.
- International work experience and comfort with diverse geographies.
