About the role

Associate System Analyst at Amgen supports the company's mission to serve patients by designing and executing rigorous testing for software and systems. The role collaborates with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to define testing scope, create test plans, and author test cases in HP ALM or equivalent tools. Responsibilities include validating acceptance criteria, performing SQL queries, identifying defects, and ensuring quality and performance of IT systems. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Computer Science/IT with 0‑7 years of experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with Agile Scrum, validation protocols, and GxP/CFR 21 Part 11 standards. Preferred experience includes database/ETL testing, Veeva Clinical Operations suite, and certifications such as SAFe for Teams or CBAP.

What you’ll bring

Bachelor’s degree + 0-3 yrs CS/IT OR Diploma + 4-7 yrs CS/IT

Nice to have

GxP, CFR 21 Part 11, systems validation familiarity
Database/ETL testing, SQL expertise (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Business analyst experience, SDLC, iterative methods
Veeva Clinical Ops suite testing, SAFe for Teams, CBAP
