Senior SW Lead Engineer

About the role

Aptiv’s Autosar Classic team in Bangalore builds advanced safety and user‑experience systems for automotive ECUs. The Lead Engineer drives end‑to‑end embedded software development, from AUTOSAR configuration to validation, ensuring compliance with ASPICE and safety standards. The role requires deep expertise in AUTOSAR Classic, CAN/LIN/Ethernet stacks, and 32‑bit MCU development, and works closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality safety solutions. On‑site in Bangalore with shift hours 6 PM‑3 AM IST.

What you’ll do

• Deliver high‑quality embedded software for automotive ECUs
• Implement AUTOSAR components and communication stacks
• Lead testing, debugging, and validation activities
• Maintain requirements traceability and technical documentation
• Apply configuration and change management practices
• Conduct code reviews and static analysis
• Ensure safety and process compliance throughout lifecycle

What you’ll bring

• 10‑14 years experience
• BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science
• Hands‑on AUTOSAR Classic architecture
• Experience with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, NVM, FEE, DEM, DCM, UDS
• Vector DaVinci tools
• 32‑bit MCU development (Infineon Aurix, Renesas, PowerPC, ARM)
• ASPICE compliance
• Agile/Scrum experience
