About the role
SYSTRA’s Metro Bidding team seeks a Chief Traction & Power Supply Expert to lead design review, tender preparation, and statutory approvals for traction and power systems. The role ensures technical excellence in earthing, power supply, and traction feeding, coordinating with telecom, civil, and signaling subsystems. Based in New Delhi – Faridabad, the position requires onsite presence for project oversight and client interactions.
What you’ll do
- Review previous studies and design documents
- Prepare tender documents and technical specifications
- Evaluate bid documents
- Interface with telecom, rolling stock, civil, and signaling teams
- Verify contractor work and prepare payment requests
- Lead statutory approval process
- Ensure installation, testing, commissioning, and trial run of traction systems
What you’ll bring
- Electrical Engineering degree
- 20 years total experience
- 7 years relevant to traction & power supply
- 3 years in senior role
- 2 years continuous on a single project
