About the role
This role leads the design, integration, and commissioning of traction power distribution, SCADA, and MIMIC panel systems for metro rail projects across India. The expert oversees system design, vendor management, testing, and quality compliance, ensuring alignment with national and international standards. Responsibilities include coordinating cross‑disciplinary teams, supervising acceptance tests, troubleshooting technical issues, documenting progress, and training operations staff. With over 20 years of railway experience, the candidate will drive the successful delivery of reliable, cost‑effective traction and control solutions for urban rail networks.
What you’ll do
- Lead planning, design, and review of traction power distribution systems
- Oversee SCADA integration, installation, and commissioning
- Manage MIMIC panel integration and testing
- Ensure compliance with national/international standards
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, signaling, and rolling stock teams
- Supervise procurement and vendor selection for SCADA and MIMIC systems
- Conduct FAT, SAT, and system commissioning activities
- Investigate and resolve technical issues during project execution
- Prepare technical documentation, progress reports, and integration protocols
- Conduct training programs for O&M staff on SCADA and MIMIC operations
What you’ll bring
- Graduate in Electrical Engineering
- 20+ years experience in railways industry
- 5+ years experience in urban rail passenger systems
