About the role

Digital & Transformation team at West Pharmaceutical Services builds enterprise BI dashboards and SAP BW solutions to support global manufacturing and supply chain operations. The Senior Solution Architect designs, implements, and supports SAP BW 7.5 on HANA, including data modeling, CDS views, and production support, while collaborating with functional teams to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions. Bengaluru, hybrid work model with on‑site collaboration as needed.

What you’ll do

• Lead design and implementation of enterprise BI dashboards
• Develop and maintain SAP BW objects, data models, and CDS views
• Provide daily production support and resolve data load issues
• Collaborate with functional teams to document and fulfill reporting requirements
• Perform enhancements, bug fixes, and performance optimizations
• Guide junior developers through training and knowledge transfer sessions
• Ensure best practices and standardized solutions across the BW landscape
• Support data extraction from multiple source systems

What you’ll bring

Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Digitalisation or related field

Nice to have

• 8+ years SAP BW experience
• Expertise in SAP BW 7.5 on HANA
• Proficiency with HANA CDS Views and Eclipse data modeling
• Experience with SAP data extraction (S/4HANA, ECC, APO)
• Knowledge of Power BI reporting
• ABAP coding for BW enhancements
• LO Cockpit and flat‑file extraction expertise
• Ability to lead training and knowledge transfer for junior developers
