ETL & API Automation Tester
About the role
We are looking for an experienced ETL & API Automation Tester to strengthen our QA team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ETL testing, SOAP/REST/GraphQL API automation, and proficiency with Groovy, Java, and SOAP UI. They will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for complex data workflows, validate JSON/XML responses, and maintain automated test suites. Working in Agile teams, they will collaborate with developers, analysts, and product owners to deliver high‑quality releases, track defects, and ensure timely delivery. Strong SQL knowledge, CI/CD experience, and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) are desirable. The role requires a proactive mindset, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a passion for quality assurance.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and execute ETL and API automation test cases
- Validate end-to-end ETL workflows and data transformations
- Automate and maintain tests for SOAP, REST, and GraphQL services
- Parse and validate JSON and XML responses for functional and performance requirements
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile environment
- Report defects, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases
