About the role

JLL is seeking an Assistant Facility Manager to join its Workspace Team in Mumbai, MH, on-site. The role focuses on planned, predictive, and corrective works for building systems, vendor quality assurance, and engineering regulatory compliance across the building portfolio. Day-to-day duties include power-down planning, incident management with 24/7 on-call support, MOPS/SOPS/EOPS production, lifecycle asset management, and client/stakeholder relationship management. The position also supports engineering standardization across Asia Pacific, leads in-city technical training, and drives innovation and energy-saving initiatives to reduce utility costs and improve productivity.

What you’ll do

  • Plan, predict, and execute corrective works for building systems
  • Perform power down planning and execution
  • Conduct quality assurance and monitor outsourced critical works vendors to maintain high equipment standards
  • Review M&E contractor maintenance/service practices to ensure quality work aligned with manufacturer recommendations, processes, tools, and documentation
  • Manage engineering regulatory compliance for the building portfolio and compliance with client-stipulated Engineering Playbooks
  • Provide incident management support, including 24/7 on-call coverage for corporate real estate buildings
  • Support installation, commissioning, and programming of new office space to ensure plans, designs, scopes, and goals are accurate
  • Produce technical reporting submissions for portfolio objectives, regular meetings, and portfolio performance

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades, or technology, or relevant experience applicable to a new industry
  • Ability to manage planned, predictive, and corrective works of building systems
  • Capability to power down plan and execute
  • Skill in quality assurance and monitoring outsourced critical works vendors
  • Ability to review maintenance/service practices of M&E contractors against manufacturer recommendations and established processes
  • Knowledge of engineering regulatory compliance management for a portfolio of buildings and client-stipulated Engineering Playbooks
  • Willingness to provide 24/7 on-call incident management support for corporate real estate buildings
  • Ability to support installation, commissioning, and programming of new office space to ensure plans, designs, scopes, and goals are accurate
