Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Kaseya is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain key capabilities across enterprise software platforms, delivering secure, scalable, and reliable solutions for customers operating complex business and technology environments. Day-to-day work includes designing, developing, testing, and maintaining SaaS features and platform components; building reliable services, APIs, integrations, and customer-facing capabilities; participating in technical design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support; collaborating with product, QA, UX/UI, operations, and engineering teams; improving performance, reliability, security, maintainability, automation, and observability; following and improving agile, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices; mentoring junior and mid-level engineers; and communicating progress, risks, blockers, and technical trade-offs. This is a hybrid role based in Pune, India, requiring onsite presence at the Pune office three days per week.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software features for enterprise SaaS platforms and related product capabilities
• Build reliable and scalable services, APIs, platform components, integrations, and customer-facing capabilities
• Participate in technical design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support activities
• Collaborate with product management, QA, UX/UI, operations, and other engineers to deliver roadmap commitments
• Contribute to improvements in performance, reliability, security, maintainability, automation, and observability
• Follow and help improve agile development, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through technical guidance, code review, and knowledge sharing
• Communicate progress, risks, blockers, and technical trade-offs clearly to team members and stakeholders

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 4 years of experience working with C# and the .NET ecosystem
• Able to work with functional programming using F# or willing to learn
• Very good knowledge around the Win32 API's
• Solid knowledge of different networking protocols like HTTP, TLS and WebSockets
• Experience with different IPC mechanisms
• Writes clean and testable code
• Past experience working with distributed systems
• Able to utilize AI-assisted code development tools for code generation, analysis and reviews
