About the role
Hybrid QE team at AspenTech builds and validates scientific applications for the Oil and Gas exploration domain. The Principal Software Quality Engineer leads automation testing, designs and executes automated tests, and collaborates with domain and development teams to ensure software performance. Pune, hybrid work model, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll bring
- 8-12 years QA automation experience
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Experience with UI automation frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, Playwright
- Familiarity with AI-based testing frameworks (e.g., Test.ai, Functionize, Applitools)
- Strong analytical and detail‑oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
