The Principal Software Quality Engineer leads testing strategy, evaluates tools, drives automation, and ensures high‑quality, secure software delivery. Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, hybrid work model, relocation available.

What you’ll do

• Evaluate and recommend testing tools and technologies
• Stay current with testing approaches and promote appropriate use
• Ensure efficient, high‑quality software delivery across squads
• Act as subject matter expert and technical authority in testing
• Assess and improve test function performance
• Mentor, coach, and develop testing team members
• Provide technical guidance, unblock issues, and resolve problems
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 10 years of related experience
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent certifications
• Commercial testing experience in enterprise Agile environments
• Proficient with Postman and Playwright
• Expertise in manual and automated testing across functional, performance, load, accessibility, and security domains
• Strong background in mentoring and coaching testers
• Experience applying industry best practices and standards
• Proven delivery of secure, scalable solutions
