About the role
Core Infrastructure Delivery - Data Platform Delivery team at 3M builds and operates enterprise database services. Senior Engineer, MSSQL DBA modernizes and supports MSSQL, cloud-native databases, implements HA, clustering, and disaster recovery, and provides daily operational support and incident response. Bangalore, Karnataka, India, hybrid (3 days onsite).
What you’ll do
- Develop automation and tools for database operations
- Implement and maintain HA, clustering, Always On, replication
- Respond to incidents and manage change requests
- Ensure compliance, data protection, and disaster recovery
- Participate in Agile Scrum teams and cross-functional projects
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years IT experience
- 7+ years MSSQL administration
- 3+ years cloud migrations (AWS)
- Proficiency in T-SQL
