About the role

Fiserv seeks a Principal, Technical Project Management to lead Jira engineering and PMO tooling in Mumbai. This on-site role focuses on designing, administering, and optimizing Jira workflows to enhance program governance, execution visibility, and operational consistency across complex enterprise programs. The position requires deep expertise in delivery operations and stakeholder collaboration.

What you’ll do

Lead configuration, administration, and optimization of Jira for project delivery and governance
Design and maintain workflows, issue types, permissions, automations, and reporting structures
Partner with PMO, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
Define standards for Jira usage, data quality, and workflow consistency across teams
Develop reporting frameworks and dashboards for delivery health and program performance metrics
Support process improvement by streamlining workflows and implementing efficiency-enhancing automation
Collaborate on portfolio planning, dependency management, and milestone reporting via Jira
Provide advanced troubleshooting, user support, and documentation for Jira configurations

What you’ll bring

12+ years of experience in Jira engineering, administration, or PMO tooling
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Proven track record supporting enterprise program execution and delivery operations
Experience with process improvement, workflow automation, and governance controls

Nice to have

Atlassian certification or equivalent platform administration credential
Experience with scripting, automation, or marketplace applications for Jira
Background in financial services, payments, or technology environments
Familiarity with Confluence or Jira Service Management
