About the role

Technology & Engineering team at Cognizant builds AI‑enabled data platforms for enterprise clients. As an Azure Data Engineer you will design and implement ADF and Databricks pipelines, model data lakes, and integrate Azure services to support analytics and governance. This role is based in Bangalore, India, on‑site at Cognizant’s office.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines using ADF and Databricks
• Create and maintain data models and Delta Lake structures
• Implement data governance and security policies
• Collaborate with analytics and BI teams to deliver data solutions
• Automate deployments and infrastructure with Terraform and Azure DevOps
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance
