About the role

Pfizer Digital’s Commercial Creation Center & CDI organization (C4) drives AI‑powered solutions for commercial decision making. The Director, AI Engineering Tech Lead will architect and deliver AI/ML features for DecisionIQ, guide end‑to‑end product engineering, and mentor a high‑performing team of AI engineers in India. Hybrid work model across Mumbai and Chennai, India, with leadership of a multi‑disciplinary engineering group.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 12+ years in software engineering or data science
  • 5+ years leading technical teams
  • Hands‑on experience building AI/ML‑powered products
  • Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Experience with LLMOps frameworks (LangChain, MLflow, Langfuse)
  • Strong English communication skills
