About the role
Database Administration Team at Ericsson responsible for designing, deploying and managing high‑availability Oracle and Couchbase environments. The role leads architecture, performance tuning, backup/recovery and security for large‑scale databases, often on Kubernetes and RAC clusters. Based in Bangalore with on‑site work required, the team provides 24×7 support and drives database projects from planning through execution.
What you’ll do
- Design and deploy scalable Oracle and Couchbase clusters
- Manage database installations, patches, upgrades and configurations
- Implement backup, recovery and security policies
- Monitor performance, capacity and resolve incidents
- Lead lifecycle management and DB‑related projects
- Provide 24×7 on‑call support
What you’ll bring
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) 11g/12c
- 10+ years Oracle DBA experience
- Couchbase administration on Kubernetes
- Performance tuning and query optimization
- Backup/recovery using RMAN
- RAC cluster management
- Linux/Unix administration
