About the role
Engineering Manager in the ELV-ICT division at Larsen & Toubro, leading high‑quality projects for airport building management systems. Drives interdisciplinary design, BIM/CAD coordination, and structured cabling validation while ensuring compliance with ISO standards and health & safety policies. Based in Chennai, on‑site work model, overseeing consultants, contractors and system integrators.
What you’ll do
- Lead delivery of airport BMS projects on time and budget
- Coordinate interdisciplinary design and BIM/CAD teams
- Develop sequence of operation and control logic diagrams
- Validate structured cabling and fiber loss calculations
- Manage consultants, contractors and system integrators
- Provide regular status updates and risk reporting
- Ensure health & safety and sustainability standards
- Maintain accurate timesheets and business development feedback
What you’ll bring
- 8-10 years experience
- Security control and server room design per ISO standards
- BIM/CAD coordination and technical design specifications
- ICT passive and active equipment design
- IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS) and Layer 2/3 technologies
- Structured cabling design validation
- Project lifecycle and QMS compliance
- Team leadership and stakeholder communication
