About the role

Zenara Health, a tech‑driven mental health company, seeks a Senior UI/UX Design Engineer to build clinician‑centric interfaces that blend AI and clinical expertise. The role owns the full design cycle—from research and wireframes to high‑fidelity prototypes and accessible design systems—ensuring rapid, high‑quality feature delivery. Designers will translate complex healthcare workflows into intuitive, mobile‑first products, leveraging AI tools such as LLMs and Figma AI to streamline design patterns. Collaboration with engineering on design tokens, Tailwind, and Storybook is essential, as is a strong grasp of WCAG 2.1 AA standards and HIPAA‑aware workflows. The position is fully remote within India, offering a stipend for home office, health insurance, and a learning budget focused on UX and healthcare tech.

What you’ll do

Design clinician-facing interfaces to improve speed & safety
Own end-to-end design process: research, wireframes, prototypes, accessibility
Translate complex healthcare workflows into intuitive products
Systematize AI design patterns while ensuring high quality
Collaborate with engineering on design tokens and code pipelines

What you’ll bring

3+ years in product/UX/UI design with measurable impact portfolio
Advanced Figma skills (Auto Layout, variables, components, Dev Mode)
Strong user research, usability testing, and responsive design expertise
Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards in healthcare
Experience with AI-assisted design tools (LLMs, Figma AI, V0.dev, Replit, Copilot)
Familiarity with healthcare/telehealth/EHR workflows and HIPAA awareness
Ability to collaborate on design tokens, Tailwind, Storybook, React basics

Nice to have

Healthcare, telehealth, or EHR workflow design experience
HIPAA compliance awareness
React semantics and CSS system familiarity
