The Director of Software Engineering leads vision, strategy, and technical direction, overseeing architecture, product roadmap, and a globally distributed engineering organization while collaborating with customers and executives. Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, on-site, Full-time, Director level role with relocation assistance.

What you’ll do

• Define and execute long‑term vision and strategy for Harness CD
• Lead delivery of cutting‑edge CD features and integrations
• Hire, grow, and mentor globally distributed engineering teams
• Provide architectural guidance for Kubernetes, Serverless, Azure, AWS
• Drive process improvements and cross‑team collaboration

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years backend software development
• 6+ years leading engineering or DevOps teams
• Hands‑on architectural leadership in Kubernetes, Go, GCP
• Experience building high‑throughput platforms and scalable APIs
• Strong product ownership and roadmap experience
