About the role

People Business Partner team at Kroll in Mumbai drives the alignment of global HR strategies with local market realities. The Senior Manager leads end‑to‑end performance management, coaching leaders on pay‑for‑performance and promotion governance, and ensures compliance with Indian labor laws. Hybrid work model with on‑site presence in Mumbai and remote collaboration across the organization.

What you’ll do

• Partner with global People Business Partners and CoEs to ensure consistency and alignment of processes, frameworks and governance
• Drive consistent execution of global HR cycles while incorporating local dynamics
• Act as key interface between local market realities and global people strategies
• Provide hands‑on coaching to leaders on pay‑for‑performance philosophy, promotion governance, and effective people management practices
• Lead end‑to‑end performance management processes ensuring fairness, rigor, and business impact
• Support Human Capital initiatives including retention strategies and mentoring
• Mitigate people‑related risks and provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters
• Oversee seamless delivery of the entire employee lifecycle including onboarding, internal mobility, transitions, and exits

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years progressive HR experience
• Master’s degree or equivalent in HR or related field
• Strong understanding of business drivers and financial outcomes
• Proven ability to coach senior stakeholders on people decisions
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
• Knowledge of Indian Labor Laws
• Ability to balance global consistency with local execution
• Experience in multinational matrixed organization
