Senior Engineering Manager

About the role

Endpoint Engineering at Nightfall AI builds cross‑platform data loss prevention agents for macOS, Windows and Linux. The senior manager leads a 10‑plus engineer team, sets architecture, writes production C/C++/C# code, and drives delivery of the Linux endpoint agent from design to GA. Remote (India) role with full ownership of technical direction, hiring, and cross‑functional partnership with product and security.

What you’ll do

• Set technical direction for endpoint agents across all platforms
• Contribute hands‑on code and design reviews for macOS/Windows/Linux agents
• Lead quarterly planning, sprint execution and delivery metrics
• Mentor and grow a multi‑platform engineering team
• Own architecture decisions for kernel‑userspace interaction and update safety
• Partner with VP of Engineering, product, security and customer success
• Drive hiring, onboarding and performance management
• Represent engineering in customer escalations and security reviews

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years software engineering
• 5+ years engineering management
• Deep expertise in macOS, Windows or Linux kernel/agent development
• Production C/C++ experience
• Experience with driver development or eBPF
• Proven hiring and team building record
• Startup environment experience
• Security or enterprise software background
