About the role

Products – Engineering team builds advanced data‑center networking solutions. The QA Software Engineer creates and maintains functional and system test automation for L2/L3 networking features, leveraging Python or Golang and CI/CD pipelines. Works closely with hardware and software engineers to debug issues, map requirements to test cases, and integrate AI‑assisted testing tools. Bangalore, hybrid work model with on‑site collaboration.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for networking features
• Design test plans, map requirements to test cases, and track defects
• Write and execute Python/Golang test scripts and integrate them into CI pipelines
• Debug hardware/software issues using networking tools and traffic generators
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools for test case generation and log analysis
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure test coverage
• Maintain test documentation and reporting
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies

What you’ll bring

• 2-5 years of hands‑on functional/system test and automation experience
• BS or MS in EE/CS
• Strong knowledge of IP Fabric, VxLAN EVPN, routing protocols (OSPF, IS‑IS, BGP)
• Proficiency in Python or Golang for test scripting
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab) and version control (Git)
• Familiarity with networking hardware debugging tools (Wireshark, Ixia)
• Exposure to Docker containerization and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Ability to communicate effectively across cross‑functional teams
