About the role

What you’ll do
- Lead, coach and develop engineering managers, chapter leads, and engineers
- Drive performance, career development, succession planning, and engagement
- Set technical direction and engineering standards for database platforms
- Ensure high-quality software, reliability, security, and observability
- Guide architectural decisions and resolve complex technical challenges
- Promote automation, productivity, and reduction of technical debt
- Own delivery outcomes across multiple teams and domains
- Partner with product owners, architects, risk teams, and executive stakeholders
