Senior Developer - Senior Engineer in Production Management

About the role

Photon Group's Production Management team builds scalable backend services and user-facing web applications to support manufacturing operations. The Senior Developer designs and implements Java Spring Boot microservices, creates RESTful APIs, and develops React.js front‑ends while also containerizing applications with Docker and orchestrating deployments on Kubernetes. Chennai or Pune, India, on-site work model.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices
• Create and document RESTful APIs
• Build responsive UI components using React.js
• Containerize applications and manage Kubernetes deployments
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate releases
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decisions
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of services

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years Java development
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Security
• Proficiency in REST API design
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Experience with React.js and modern JavaScript
• Hands‑on Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipeline implementation
