Lead Java Full Stack Developer

About the role

Lead Java Full Stack Developer at GlobalFoundries India center in Bengaluru. Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying containerized Java applications using Spring Boot and Angular, orchestrated on AWS ECS/EC2. Lead a team of 2-3 junior developers, own end-to-end development, collaborate with product owners and manufacturing data domain to build predictive analytics solutions. Requires strong Java, relational DB, Angular, REST, Spring Boot, Docker, AWS, CI/CD, and leadership skills.

What you’ll do

• Lead full-stack development with 2-3 junior developers
• Design, develop, test, debug, implement Spring Boot/Angular apps
• Containerize with Docker, orchestrate on AWS ECS, deploy on EC2
• Translate product owner needs into predictive analytics solutions
• Collaborate with GFIT, Manufacturing Data Domain for data pipelines
• Work with users, DBAs, engineers on new features and fixes
• Support day-to-day operations and troubleshooting

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s CS or Master’s CS with 8/6 yrs experience
• Solid Java, relational DB, Angular, REST, Spring Boot skills
• Docker, AWS ECS/EC2, CI/CD (Git, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins)
• IntelliJIDEA, R, Python, semiconductor domain knowledge
• Lead team, end-to-end ownership, guide juniors

Nice to have

• Strong analytical, self-motivated, independent
• AWS cloud services experience
• Design/implement REST, JSON services
• Seamless front-end/back-end integration
• Proficient with Git, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins
