Associate Consultant

About the role

IQVIA is seeking an Associate Consultant to join its life sciences and healthcare intelligence team, delivering analytical insights and high-quality work products for project teams and clients. Day-to-day, you will analyze life sciences datasets (e.g., IQVIA MIDAS, market research, SDR), build competitive market models, apply statistical and forecasting techniques, and translate business assumptions into robust analytical models. You will also automate workflows with VBA, leverage Business Intelligence and AI-driven solutions, produce client-ready deliverables, and support client engagement and proposal development. Locations: Bangalore, India and Gurugram, India.

What you’ll do

• Work extensively with life sciences datasets such as IQVIA MIDAS, market research data, and SDR to extract actionable insights
• Build and evaluate competitive market scenarios grounded in competitive dynamics and industry trends
• Apply time-series analysis, regression models, and forecasting methods to support evidence-based decision-making
• Translate business assumptions into quantifiable drivers and integrate them into robust analytical models
• Produce high-quality analytical deliverables ensuring accuracy, reproducibility, and clarity for project teams and clients
• Develop clear project workplans, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones
• Support client interactions, presentations, and discussions to ensure technical clarity and business relevance
• Take full accountability for assigned analytical workstreams, ensuring zero-defect delivery

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences / BE / MCA OR Master’s Degree in Life Sciences / MCA
• Good knowledge of Pharmaceutical Forecasting and relevant datasets
• Advanced MS Excel (mandatory) – modelling, large datasets, automation
• VBA (mandatory) – automation, tool development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in PowerPoint for client-ready storytelling
• Familiarity with AI concepts and applications in business contexts
• Clear, concise, and structured written and verbal communication
