About the role
AMZL HR team at Amazon drives last‑mile delivery workforce effectiveness. The Senior HR Business Partner partners with senior management to shape organizational design, talent strategy, employee relations and HR project delivery, while coaching junior HR staff. Mumbai, India, on‑site role.
What you’ll do
- Partner with senior management to develop and implement organizational effectiveness initiatives
- Lead workforce capability building, organizational design, and change leadership efforts
- Drive strategic staffing, talent management, and succession planning
- Provide employee relations support and management coaching
- Manage HR projects including automation, training, policy review, and implementation
- Coach and mentor junior HR team members
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years human resource generalist experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- Knowledge of local labor law
- Experience with HR theory, functions and practice
- Experience supporting hourly employee client group
- Experience with MS Office tools and HR Information Systems
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Human Resources Management
- Experience assessing management and executive talent
- Experience developing and administering HR compensation plans
- Experience in HR for companies with 250-500+ associates
