About the role

Energy Storage & Clean Hydrogen practice at Customized Energy Solutions India builds techno‑commercial and financial models to drive investment decisions for BESS, RE+BESS, battery manufacturing, and green hydrogen projects. The consultant leads assignments, mentors junior analysts, and delivers client presentations that shape India’s energy transition. Based in India, the role requires on‑site collaboration with cross‑functional teams and periodic travel to industry forums.

What you’ll do

• Lead consulting assignments and manage project teams
• Develop techno‑commercial and financial models for BESS, RE+BESS, battery manufacturing, and green hydrogen projects
• Support clients in tender evaluations, bid strategy, and investment analysis
• Conduct financial analysis (IRR, NPV, LCOS/LCOE, TCO, sensitivity analysis)
• Analyse energy storage tender frameworks, market mechanisms, and regulatory developments
• Prepare high‑quality client presentations, reports, and strategic advisory materials
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including technical experts, consultants, and business development
• Mentor junior analysts and ensure timely execution of consulting deliverables

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s in Engineering (Electrical/Chemical/Materials)
• 5–7 years experience in energy storage consulting
• Proficiency in BESS financial modelling (IRR, NPV, LCOE/LCOS, TCO)
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience in client‑facing consulting
• Knowledge of Indian energy market regulations
• Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams
