About the role
Ball Corporation, a world leader in sustainable aluminium packaging, seeks a Sr Human Resources Specialist to manage day-to-day HR operations and support the Operational Excellence People Pillar at its Bhurai plant. The role involves handling industrial relations, payroll, recruitment, and statutory compliance while serving as the primary contact for employee grievances. This position is located in Bhurai, Maharashtra, India.
What you’ll do
- Provide HR and IR support to the Plant HR Manager
- Assist HR manager in negotiations with union for wages and benefits
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and employment standards
- Coordinate recruitment, selection, and performance management
- Manage computerized Time & attendance and Payroll activities
- Handle employee relations and serve as first point of contact for grievances
- Administer employee transportation and security management
- Monitor statutory compliance and close audit non-conformities
What you’ll bring
- 8+ years relevant work experience in the manufacturing industry
- Graduate in any discipline with post-graduation in HR and IR
- Strong track record in Industrial relations
- Sound knowledge of labour laws and compliances
- Good knowledge of English, Hindi & Marathi language
Nice to have
- Knowledge of HRMS (preferred SAP SuccessFactors)
- Ability to deal with unions effectively
- Strong recruitment and L&D experience
- Good interpersonal skills & ability to work under pressure
