About the role

Web Platforms QA team at Transaction Network Services builds and maintains automated testing frameworks for cloud‑hosted web applications. The Senior Web Automation QA Engineer designs, implements and scales Selenium/Playwright test suites, integrates them into CI/CD pipelines, and validates end‑to‑end workflows across AWS, hybrid and on‑prem environments. Bangalore, India, on-site (full‑time).

What you’ll do

• Design and execute functional, regression, integration and negative tests for web apps
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium/WebDriver or Playwright
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, TeamCity)
• Validate end‑to‑end workflows across UI, API and backend services
• Test applications on AWS, hybrid and on‑prem infrastructure
• Use GenAI/LLM tools to accelerate test design and debug, while evaluating outputs
• Mentor engineers on automation best practices and cloud‑aware testing
• Collaborate with product, engineering, QA and DevOps teams to define test strategies

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years QA experience with web testing and automation
• Hands‑on experience with Selenium/WebDriver or Playwright
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience testing applications deployed on AWS or other cloud platforms
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication/authorization
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Using GenAI/LLM assistants for test design and debugging
• Proficiency with Git workflows and Agile/Scrum practices

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS/Aurora, CloudWatch, IAM)
• Experience validating cloud‑hosted databases
• Automating multi‑window/tab flows and third‑party redirects
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) concepts
• Exposure to Docker or Terraform/CloudFormation
• Performance, volume or resiliency testing in cloud
