Senior SAP BW / ABAP Integration Specialist

About the role

Technology team at Metyis drives data architecture and integration for the HUGO BOSS Digital Campus. The Senior SAP BW / ABAP Integration Specialist leads analysis, migration and modernization of SAP BW, SAP HANA and ABAP solutions to cloud platforms, collaborating with SAP, Data Engineering, BI, AI and Cloud teams. Bangalore, hybrid (3 days onsite).

What you’ll do

• Lead analysis, migration and modernization of SAP BW, HANA and ABAP solutions
• Design scalable, cloud‑ready data processing solutions ensuring data quality and auditability
• Develop migration specifications, source‑to‑target mappings and validation frameworks
• Collaborate with SAP, Data Engineering, BI, AI and Cloud teams for successful migration
• Support testing, regression, parallel runs and post‑go‑live stabilization
• Troubleshoot migration issues and performance bottlenecks
• Contribute to metadata management, data lineage and documentation

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years SAP BW (BW on HANA/BW/4HANA) experience
• ABAP development expertise
• SAP migration or cloud transformation project delivery
• Strong knowledge of SAP BW objects and extraction methods
• Experience with SAP interfaces: IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, CDS Views, OData Services, APIs
• SQL and data performance optimization skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
