Senior Accountant, International Accounting

About the role

Join a global, remote-first partner company in India as a Senior Accountant to maintain accurate and compliant international financial operations. You will oversee core accounting activities including general ledger reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and month-end close processes while ensuring regulatory compliance. This role offers strong visibility into audit and financial reporting within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do

• Manage accounting transactions and prepare accurate general ledger reconciliations
• Record, reconcile, and monitor intercompany transactions
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with Ind AS
• Support internal and external audit activities
• Prepare flux reports and investigate significant variances
• Identify and resolve complex accounting issues
• Ensure global accounting policies and internal controls are implemented

What you’ll bring

• CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• 3–4 years of experience in Record-to-Report, General Ledger, or operational accounting
• Strong working knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP
• Practical knowledge of TDS/withholding tax, GST, and Indian statutory requirements
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle or SAP

Nice to have

• Big 4 audit or accounting experience preferred
• Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools or Power Query is an advantage
• Knowledge of APAC market accounting requirements is desirable
