Senior Accountant, International Accounting

About the role

Twilio’s International Accounting team seeks a Senior Accountant to ensure accurate fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and GL operations for global compliance. The role involves managing month-end close, financial statement preparation under Ind AS, and leading audit activities while optimizing ERP processes. This position is fully remote within India.

What you’ll do

• Prepare GL reconciliations including bank reconciliation
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions
• Conduct month, quarter, and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare year-end financial statements as per Ind AS
• Participate in and manage internal and external audits
• Prepare flux reports and explain variances
• Lead resolution of accounting issues and guide cross-functional teams
• Ensure implementation of global accounting policies and procedures

What you’ll bring

• CA, CPA or ACCA equivalent qualification
• 3-4 years’ experience in Record to Report / GL function
• Experience preferably at an MNC company
• Hands-on experience with month-end close process
• Working knowledge of Ind AS/IFRS and US GAAP
• Experience with TDS/Withholding tax and regulatory filings

Nice to have

• Big4 audit/accounting experience preferred
• Knowledge of latest AI tools and Power Query
• Knowledge of accounting for APAC countries
