About the role
KONE IT Enterprise Data & Analytics team in Pune drives Data Foundation to enable scalable analytics, AI and digital use cases. The Principal Data Engineer designs, develops and industrialises data pipelines, ensuring reusable, high‑performing data products for business consumers. The role leads a team of data engineers, mentors, and collaborates across global stakeholders to adopt best practices and optimise cloud costs.

What you’ll bring
- Master’s or PhD in quantitative field
- 18‑20 years data engineering experience
- Expertise in Databricks, AWS Glue, Airflow, DBT, Spark, Kafka
- Python, SQL, Scala coding
- DevSecOps/DataOps lifecycle
- Cybersecurity & data privacy compliance
- Cloud FinOps
- Agile tools (Jira, Confluence)
