About the role

Manufacturing Operations at Cummins produces engine components and assemblies. The Production Associate II operates conventional, CNC and robotic machines, performs quality inspections, and maintains equipment to meet production goals. Pune, India, on-site work model.

What you’ll do

• Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products
• Performs quality inspections and controls non-conforming material
• Maintains clean work area and conducts routine machine cleaning and maintenance
• Communicates effectively with team and support staff
• Participates in health, safety, and environmental compliance activities
• Engages in continuous improvement and training initiatives

What you’ll bring

• Hands-on experience with conventional machines, CNC machines, and robotic systems
• Strong knowledge of connecting rod machining processes
• Mechanical Engineering qualification/background preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of machining practices, production processes, and quality standards
• High school diploma or equivalent
