Financial Analyst - Lease Enablement

About the role

The Financial Analyst-Lease Enablement role within HP, Inc.'s Finance organization applies advanced subject matter expertise to solve complex business issues for the Integrated Leasing business. Day-to-day work includes account-level P&L analysis, deal-level forecasting, profitability assessment, financial reporting, dashboards, and scenario modelling to support planning, budgeting, and operational decision-making. The analyst partners with Customer Delivery Managers and Contract Management Operations to monitor deal and account profitability across the end-to-end leasing lifecycle, supports process improvements and automation, and may mentor lower-level employees. This full-time position is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

What you’ll do

• Provide Business Finance support for the Integrated Leasing business, including account-level P&L analysis, revenue, cost, margin, profitability reporting, and identification of key financial drivers,
• Support deal-level forecasting, financial analysis, and profitability assessment, ensuring accurate business and operational inputs are reflected in forecasts, and perform forecast-versus-actual analy
• Prepare financial reporting, dashboards, management analysis, scenario modelling, and business insights to support planning, budgeting, forecasting, business reviews, and operational decision-making
• Partner with Customer Delivery Managers and Contract Management Operations to monitor deal and account profitability and support the end-to-end leasing lifecycle, including lease initiation, asset ins
• Monitor and support timely and accurate customer billing, identifying potential delays or process gaps following lease initiation and asset installation and coordinating with relevant teams to resolve
• Collaborate with Business Finance, Compliance, Analytics, and Operations to resolve financial issues, improve data quality, maintain financial controls, and provide accurate inputs to the Services bus
• Support process improvements, reporting enhancements, automation, and standardization within finance processes, while developing a strong understanding of the Leasing Ecosystem, business processes, sy

What you’ll bring

• First level university degree with a focus in business or economics
• Typically 6+ years of experience as a financial analyst
• Typically experienced in more than one finance function
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles focused on leasing and financial analysis, with advanced knowledge in one area
• Excellent analytical skills
