About the role

Investigator Payments Lead – Senior Associate on Parexel's Clinical Payments team. The team ensures accurate, timely payments to clinical sites by managing payment lifecycles, configuring budgets, and troubleshooting payment issues. The role leads planning, oversees vendor compliance, and supports audit activities while collaborating across operations, finance, legal, and technology. Remote work from Mumbai, Hyderabad or Bengaluru, India, with a hybrid remote model.

What you’ll do

• Manage end-to-end clinical site payment administration from protocol scheduling to payment execution
• Lead planning of key activities to ensure system configuration meets startup milestone payments
• Assess EDC design and data collection for accurate budget mapping and timely payment triggers
• Provide guidance on site contracts and budgets to align with contractual terms
• Oversee vendors to ensure adherence to payment processes and resolve queries
• Tri­age complex technology and process issues involving budgets, contracts, tax and currency
• Review payment performance, identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions
• Ensure purchase orders and funding are active for approved payments

What you’ll bring

• 2+ years experience in clinical contracts, budget administration, accounting or finance
• Knowledge of clinical operations, protocols and site budgets
• Experience with EDC data and systems (preferred)
• Familiarity with industry payment processing software (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills for fast‑paced environment
• Understanding of regional tax and payment regulations
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with operations, legal, finance and technology
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
