About the role
Zynga's data science and analytics team drives player insights and game personalization across its global portfolio. As a Principal Data Analyst you will define analytics strategy, develop advanced statistical and machine learning models, and influence senior leadership with data-driven storytelling. Bengaluru, India, on-site, hybrid schedule with occasional remote days.
What you’ll do
- Define and shape analytics strategy for games
- Identify high‑impact problems and drive end‑to‑end solutions
- Implement novel methodologies including statistical modeling and ML
- Own architecture decisions on modeling and data infrastructure
- Deliver projects that move core game metrics
- Influence senior leadership through data storytelling
- Mentor senior and junior analysts
- Champion best practices in experimentation and data governance
What you’ll bring
- 8+ years data science or analytics experience
- BS required, Masters/MBA/PhD preferred
- Fluent in SQL
- Proficient in Python
- Experience with Tableau, Looker or similar
- Deep expertise in statistics, experimental design, causal inference, ML
- Proven track record of production‑scale model deployment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
