Senior Developer Workday

About the role

Empower Retirement seeks a Senior Workday Integration Developer to design, develop, and maintain integrations between Workday and third‑party systems. The role covers the full implementation lifecycle, from discovery and design to production deployment and support. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, building custom solutions, monitoring integration runs, enhancing existing integrations, and collaborating with Workday Community and user groups. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree, have 6+ years of Workday integration experience, deep knowledge of Workday HCM modules, XML/XSLT, SOAP/REST services, and strong communication and organizational skills.

What you’ll do

• Gather and analyze requirements; provide technical advice and best practices.
• Develop and implement Workday integration solutions.
• Monitor integration runs for successful completion.
• Implement new integrations.
• Provide internal Workday service & support.
• Enhance existing integrations for business changes.
• Collaborate with Workday Community and User groups to resolve issues.
• Provide feedback on feature designs, product roadmap, and development progress.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor degree in Business Management, Finance, IT, HR or equivalent.
• 6 years of Workday Integration experience (EIB, Connectors, Studio).
• In-depth knowledge of Workday objects, processes, services, BIRT.
• Experienced in XML, XSLT, WWS, RAAS.
• Extensive knowledge of 3+ Workday HCM modules.
• Solid understanding of Workday security model.
• Proficient in SOAP and REST web services.
• Handle production support, defects, enhancements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Exercise discretion and judgment independently.
• Highly organized to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
