About the role
Oracle HCM Cloud Consultant – Payroll delivers end-to-end Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations for North American clients. The role involves translating requirements into scalable solutions, performing configuration, and managing the full lifecycle from discovery to post-go-live stabilization. This is a remote-based position located in India.
What you’ll do
- Participate in client discovery sessions, business process discussions, requirements gathering, and fit-gap analysis
- Analyze business requirements and develop Functional Solution Designs (FSDs), configuration workbooks, test scripts, and deployment documentation
- Perform hands-on configuration of Oracle Cloud Payroll in line with approved business requirements and Oracle leading practices
- Define data conversion requirements, including mapping specifications, validation activities, conversion testing, and resolution of data-related issues
- Partner with technical and cross-functional teams to develop functional specifications for integrations, reports, Fast Formulas, data conversions, and application enhancements
- Support unit testing, validate technical solutions, troubleshoot functional issues, and ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements
- Collaborate with Core HR, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Benefits, Compensation, Finance, and General Ledger teams to deliver integrated end-to-end business processes
- Design System Integration Testing (SIT) scenarios and coordinate cross-module testing across Payroll and related Oracle Cloud applications
What you’ll bring
- 4–8 years of Oracle HCM experience with strong specialization in Oracle Cloud Payroll
- Proven hands-on experience delivering at least 3 Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations
- At least one complete end-to-end Oracle Cloud Payroll implementation covering discovery to hypercare
- Strong hands-on expertise configuring Oracle Cloud Payroll
- Experience working with related Oracle Cloud HCM modules including Core HR, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Benefits, Compensation, and General Ledger
Nice to have
- Oracle Cloud Payroll certification
- Knowledge of US payroll legislation and regulatory requirements
- Experience supporting US Government or Public Sector payroll implementations
- Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM Release 25+
