About the role

Vertiv seeks an Engineer I in Pune, India to design PCBs and electrical schematics for data center infrastructure solutions. The role involves creating layouts, generating Gerber files, and producing harness drawings using specialized software tools. This is an on-site position focused on hardware engineering execution.

What you’ll do

• Design single-sided, double-sided, and multi-layer PCBs using Xpedition and PADS
• Generate Gerber files, netlists, and PCBA BOMs
• Create electrical schematics and harness drawings in AutoCAD
• Manage component libraries and new component generation
• Apply DFM, DFT, and IPC standards to designs
• Utilize ERP systems like Oracle or SAP for BOM management

What you’ll bring

• Diploma or BE in Electronics & Telecom or Industrial Electronics
• Proficiency in Xpedition PCB (VX2.5) and PADS PCB (9.2) software
• Experience with AutoCAD for electrical schematics and harness drawings
• Knowledge of DFM, DFT, and IPC standards
