Senior Manager, ABF Fund Accounting

About the role

Asset-Backed Finance team at Oaktree manages alternative investment funds and ensures accurate financial reporting. The Senior Manager maintains books, reconciles cash and investments, and oversees complex fee and waterfall calculations. Hyderabad, on-site, full-time role with leadership over audit coordination and process documentation.

What you’ll do

• Maintain books and records for pooled private investment funds
• Account for and reconcile cash and investments
• Record and reconcile purchase and sale transactions
• Estimate and post monthly closing accruals
• Partner with corporate actions team on complex actions
• Prepare and review management fee and waterfall calculations
• Allocate income and expense to partners and update distribution waterfalls
• Coordinate with auditors, custodians, prime brokers and fund administrators

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years accounting or audit experience
• Big Four public accounting background preferred
• Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
