About the role

Fund Accounting team at Oaktree Capital Management maintains the books and records for Asset-Backed Finance funds. The Senior Manager oversees fund accounting, cash and investment reconciliation, fee calculations, allocations, and financial reporting while coordinating with auditors and service providers. What you’ll do

• Maintain books and records for pooled private investment funds
• Account for and reconcile cash and investments
• Record and reconcile purchase and sale transactions
• Estimate and post monthly closing accruals
• Partner with corporate actions team on complex events
• Prepare/review management fee and waterfall calculations
• Allocate income and expenses to partners and update distribution waterfalls
• Determine and prepare distributions and capital calls
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Analyze performance metrics
• Coordinate with independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers, and fund administrators
• Document processes and internal controls over financial reporting

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years accounting or audit experience
• Big Four public accounting background preferred
• Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis
• Technical accounting skills for investment company rules
• Analytical problem‑solving ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
