About the role

EY GDS seeks a Manager to lead Oracle EBS and OCI infrastructure initiatives, driving cloud migration and database modernization for global clients. The role involves overseeing DBA teams, designing secure architectures, and managing complex technical engagements in Hyderabad. This is a hybrid position requiring deep expertise in distributed application support.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee Oracle EBS DBA and OCI implementation projects
  • Manage high-performing DBA team and incident response processes
  • Execute end-to-end database migrations from on-prem to OCI
  • Design virtual networks, routing rules, and security configurations
  • Perform technical reviews and gap analysis against best practices
  • Support database upgrades, patching, and performance tuning
  • Create solution blueprints and technical architecture documents
  • Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams on instance provisioning

What you’ll bring

  • 8-12 years experience architecting/supporting highly distributed applications
  • Extensive public cloud experience (Oracle/Azure/Google preferred)
  • BTech / MTech / MCA / MBA degree required
  • Strong Oracle Database upgrade and performance tuning skills
  • Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB

Nice to have

  • Public Cloud Certified Architect Professional
  • System administration experience (Linux, Solaris)
  • Experience migrating mission-critical apps to cloud environments
  • Ability to present solutions to executive audiences
