About the role
Qualcomm Systems Engineering team drives the development of next‑generation wireless technologies. The Senior Lead/Senior Engineer designs, codes, and prototypes multi‑threaded embedded WLAN software, collaborates with systems and test groups to diagnose system‑level issues, and applies machine‑learning techniques to enhance wireless performance. Bangalore office, on‑site work model, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Research, design, and develop embedded WLAN software solutions
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to steer prototyping and delivery
- Diagnose and resolve system‑level issues across firmware, driver, and hardware
- Apply machine‑learning algorithms to wireless domain problems
What you’ll bring
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Nice to have
- 3-5 years systems engineering or embedded software development
- Proficiency in C programming and debugging
- Experience with Linux networking, socket programming, and WLAN specifications
- Ability to analyze firmware, driver, and hardware issues using logs and traces
