Sourcing Lead

About the role

Welo Data – Sourcing & Talent builds and scales multilingual data pipelines for GenAI systems worldwide. The Sourcing Lead develops sourcing strategies, creates proactive talent pipelines, and mentors a high‑performing sourcing team to meet global hiring needs. This role works onsite at Welo’s Gurgaon office, Monday‑Friday, 9 AM‑6 PM, collaborating closely with recruiters and hiring managers.

What you’ll do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities
• Build proactive talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
• Lead, mentor and coach the sourcing team to improve capability and performance
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and create sourcing plans
• Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean/X‑Ray search, job boards and innovative sourcing channels
• Conduct talent mapping, competitor research and market intelligence
• Track and analyze sourcing metrics, pipeline health and channel effectiveness
• Promote adoption of AI tools and best practices in sourcing

What you’ll bring

• 8-10 years talent acquisition experience with a focus on sourcing
• Proven experience leading or mentoring a sourcing team
• Expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean and X‑Ray search, job boards and referrals
• Strong market mapping and talent intelligence skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication
• Experience using AI‑powered sourcing tools
• Familiarity with ATS and recruitment analytics tools
• Experience supporting global hiring across multiple regions
