About the role
Global Reconciliation team at Ares Management ensures accurate cash and PAR reconciliation for bank loan products. The role leads proactive research, resolution, and prevention of cash and PAR breaks, directs fund administrators, and prepares KPI reporting using PowerBI. Mumbai, on-site, hybrid schedule with occasional off‑hours testing and system enhancements.
What you’ll do
- Research, resolve, and prevent cash and PAR breaks with custodian banks
- Direct fund administrators on processing and reconcile outputs
- Report cash & PAR breaks and prepare KPI dashboards
- Review daily reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Participate in policy decisions and system enhancement initiatives
What you’ll bring
- 11-14 years investment management operations experience
- Graduate degree
Nice to have
- Strong fixed income product knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word
- Experience with ClearPar, Wall Street Office, Geneva
- Experience with custodian and agent banks
- Experience managing outsource/offshore providers
