About the role
Legal team at Easebuzz, a fintech payment solutions company, ensures compliance and protects the organization’s legal interests. The Associate Vice President - Legal leads litigation, IP management, and complex contract negotiations, advising internal stakeholders and coordinating with external counsel and regulators. Based in Pune, India, on-site work model.
What you’ll do
- Draft, review, and negotiate high‑risk agreements with domestic and foreign entities
- Manage litigation and coordinate with law enforcement and regulatory bodies
- Oversee IP registrations, renewals, and portfolio strategy
- Implement and maintain legal documentation management systems
- Advise internal teams on compliance with local and international payment regulations
- Prepare reports and committee papers on legal matters for senior management
What you’ll bring
- 10-15 years of legal experience
- LLB degree required
- LLM preferred
- Extensive litigation experience
- IP portfolio management
- Complex contract drafting and negotiation
- Regulatory compliance expertise in payments sector
- Coordination with law enforcement and external counsel
