About the role
Global Sales at HPE builds future-ready solutions for customers. The Senior Systems Engineer leads technical presales for PSU and Enterprise BFSI accounts, designing end‑to‑end data‑center, routing, campus networking and security solutions and driving solution‑led sales. Gurgaon, India, hybrid (2 days onsite per week).
What you’ll do
- Act as technical presales lead for North region accounts
- Design and architect end‑to‑end networking and security solutions
- Support sales in qualifying and pursuing opportunities
- Lead technical presentations, workshops and demos
- Develop competitive technical responses to tenders
- Create solution proposals, BOMs and architecture documentation
- Build relationships with customers, consultants and partners
- Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis
Nice to have
- 5+ years presales experience
- Strong expertise in data‑center solutions
- Enterprise routing & switching knowledge
- Campus networking design
- Network security expertise
- Experience with PSU and BFSI sectors
- RFP/RFI/RFQ response handling
- Stakeholder engagement with CXOs
